THERE IS A POSSUM IN THE ROOF

Understanding that their is something not right is the beginning to understanding the problem. In order to define the problem I had to ask questions about the problem. These questions are:

–What is the problem?
–Who has the problem?
–Why is it important to solve?

Using my answers to these questions I was able to create a problem statement.

Problem Statement 

The possum is in the roof because
it needs a safe home.

By creating a problem statement I was able to gain a deeper understanding of the problem and where to focus my research in order to solve it.
